After a careful and extensive selection process for a partner who could help them with the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management, Sofis B.V. decided to enter into a partnership with Focus Enterprise Solutions.
The implementation of this Microsoft ERP system also involves the implementation of a range of To-Increase’s add-ons, such as Asset Service Management (ASM), Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), and PLM Integration with Solid Works (PLM). Alongside this, Sofis has decided to implement Focus Enterprise Solutions’ IP solution for processing digital bank statements (Extended Banking).

Reliable and future-oriented solution
Sofis B.V. is part of Halma PLC, a market leader specialized in safety, health, and environmental technologies and an internationally renowned manufacturer of valve control systems such as mechanical valve locks, portable actuators, and valve position indicators. Eager to make a well-informed choice, Sofis conducted an extensive market analysis and contacted various possible suppliers. Based on this thorough preliminary process, Sofis ultimately decided to work with Microsoft Dynamics 365, with Focus Enterprise Solutions as an implementation partner. The extensibility and scalability of Microsoft Dynamics 365 towards a more digitally enabled future business was a key factor for Sofis for choosing this specific solution.

Scope of the project
The project at Sofis includes the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management for the core processes of the head office location of Sofis B.V. in Alphen aan den Rijn, available for our remote offices in The United Kingdom, Germany, United States, Dubai and India as well.
Extended Banking is added to this for the automatic processing of bank statements. In addition to the design and implementation of Dynamics, Focus Enterprise Solutions has set up a Microsoft Azure environment to host the various environments in the projects.
Focus Enterprise Solutions will work together with To-Increase during the project’s implementation phase to implement the following relevant modules.
- PLM-ERP Integration
- Enterprise Asset Management
- Asset Service Management
- Planning Board (Enterprise Asset Management)
Sofis’ business users carefully reviewed To-Increase’s solutions during the selection phase. The added value and usability of these modules have been validated and will be implemented in close collaboration between To-Increase’s experts and Focus Enterprise Solutions’ implementation team.
As the go-live for the new Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management environment is scheduled for September 2023, the project is being carried out in a semi-agile form consisting of several ‘sprints’, ensuring a degree of flexibility in terms of organization.
