Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management is an essential part of the day-to-day operations at Nabuurs. ‘We primarily use the financial part of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for accounting,’ Mariska explains.

The implementation of a new ERP system is never a flawless affair. Mariska admits that the implementation process was intense: ‘The implementation was quite a tough process, but now everybody is very satisfied with the system; it’s a joy to work with.’

And successfully, Mariska says. ‘Implementing ERP without any glitches is impossible, so in this process we also had some challenges, which we coped with together. With cooperation and perseverance and the help of open communication, we managed to find the right solutions to these issues. There is still some room for improvement here and there, for instance with the invoice processing solution. We have not put it to optimum use yet, but we make these improvements together, and we have a lot of confidence in our cooperation with Focus Enterprise Solutions.’

Nabuurs is set to take the next steps in its digitalisation process with the successful implementation of Dynamics 365. ‘We are now taking the step towards Power BI, to more data analytics and more data-driven decisions. We also want to set up Extended Banking. We have laid the foundation, and now it is time to optimise.’
